Victim Information

VINELink is the online version of VINE (Victim Information and Notification Everyday), the National Victim Notification Network.  This service allows crime victims to obtain timely and reliable information about criminal cases and the custody status of offenders 24 hours a day. Victims and other concerned citizens can also register to be notified by phone, email, text message (SMS) or TTY device when an offender's custody status changes. Users can also register through their participating state or county toll-free number.

PA SAVIN stands for Pennsylvania Statewide Automated Victim Information and Notification.  SAVIN is a free, confidential system that provides victims of crime, their families and any other interested person with the status of offenders in the Elk County Jail.  The system provides anyone registered with a phone call or e-mail 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  The notification will be about the release, transfer, furlough, or escape of the offender.  To register, users need only to call a toll-free number, 1-866-972-7284, or log onto www.pacrimevictims.state.pa.us.
